Analisis Kinerja Pelayanan Kapal di Pelabuhan Tanjung Emas Semarang

This research aims to analyze the performance of ship services at the Tanjung Emas Port of Semarang at the Semarang Container Terminal during 2023. Service performance is evaluated through three main indicators, namely arrival rate, service time, and Berth Occupancy Ratio (BOR). The data used includes the number of ship arrivals, service times, and the level of dock usage throughout the year. The research results show that the average arrival rate is 3 ships per day, illustrating a relatively stable ship arrival frequency. The average service time is 9.6 hours, which reflects the time required to service one ship while in port. Meanwhile, the average BOR is at 56%, which indicates a stable level of dock utilization but still has room for increased efficiency. In conclusion, the Port of Tanjung Emas Semarang is able to maintain general operational stability, however optimization of dock utilization and operational management is still needed to deal with fluctuations in port activity in the future.
